Water Spirit
Celebrating ancient rock art, reclaimed steel, and water, the Water Spirit is made predominately from repurposed metal. This particular representation is based on the petroglyph found at Columbia Hills State Park near Dallesport, Washington. Sadly, the rock was broken when it was moved. Sadder still, thousands of other petroglyphs along with Native American villages were lost beneath the waters of The Dallas Dam on the Columbia River. But, you know, progress.
This piece is made almost entirely from repurposed metal. The hair comes from old snap ties used in concrete construction. The image is etched into the metal and sealed with a matte finish.
Ready to hang indoors or out in the garden, this marriage of rustic and fine art makes an unforgettable gift for you or someone else.
Plus, 10% of profits go to the Navajo Water Project (navajowaterproject.org).
