Don't Ask Forever Love Me Now Kachina

$699.00

This piece is part of the No More Stolen Sisters series. Inspired by the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women movement, the Don’t Ask Forever Love Me Now Kachina is made predominately from salvaged metal.

The image, plasma cut by hand into the reclaimed steel, is based on a petroglyph found in Twin Bluffs, Wisconsin (photo #8). The wings come from part of an old sawmill bandsaw blade. The resin head features a red hand, the symbol of the MMIW cause, set against the backdrop of stars in the night sky.
