The image plasma cut by hand into the steel is based on an Ancestral Puebloan petroglyph found at the Upper Sand Island area of Bears Ears National Monument in Utah (photo #9).

The abstract head is made of mica powder-infused resin which also contains ground turquoise from the American Southwest. Copper bracelets and triangles provide additional detail and visual interest.
