Sing with Me Somehow Kachina Sculpture

$2,750.00
sold out

Striking the bell at the heart of this sculpture each morning will fill your soul with a deep resonance that will echo throughout your day. Watch and listen below. Inspired by a petroglyph found near Bluff, Utah (photo #15), the raised image of the large bird (a heron or crane) is “sketched” onto the steel with welding beads.

The Sing with Me Somehow Kachina is made largely from salvaged material: the bell comes from an oxygen tank, the striker handle is a railroad spike, and the light blue shawl is cut from an old steel drum.

When the day is done the copper earrings reflect the last rays of the setting sun before the solar powered light at the top of the staff welcomes the night’s first star.

Dimensions:

77 inches tall

44 inches wide

15-inch base diameter

Standing almost six-and-a-half feet high, this marriage of rustic and fine art makes an unforgettable gift for that very special someone.

Ten percent of profits from this sale go to the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women (csvanw.org).
