Inspired by ancient rock art, rust, and resin, the Rust Never Sleeps Kachina is made almost entirely from salvaged metal. The head contains ground turquoise from the American Southwest as well as a shot of high quality glow-in-the-dark powder. Resin covers the entire piece, preserving the beauty of the rust and giving the kachina a glossy, wet look. The petroglyph inspired images have been plasma cut by hand into the steel.
