Inspired by the magic of ancient rock art, rust, and purple (haze), the Kiss the Sky Shaman is made almost entirely from salvaged metal. It features three somewhat human figures plasma cut by hand into the steel. The original petroglyph panel can be found at Capitol Reef National Park in Utah.

The abstract purple-tinted head is made of resin and mica powder, including ground turquoise from the American Southwest. The metal arms, hands, and head feathers come from old snap ties used in construction.
