Danger Bird Shaman (No. 4) is made almost entirely from salvaged or repurposed material. The wings come from an old steel drum. In a past life the legs were construction snap ties. A resin pour covers a piece of petrified wood*, which is more than 200 millions years old.
Plasma cut by hand, the bird image is based on a petroglyph found in Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona (photo #8).
