Coyote Places the Stars Petroglyph Panel

Coyote Places the Stars is based on the petroglyph found in Nine Mile Canyon near Price, Utah and a creation story told by several tribes... One day Coyote was given a sack of stars and told to arrange them in the sky in careful order. At first he did as he was told. But, being Coyote, he soon became tired and bored and ended up throwing the rest of the bag up in the sky.

The image of Coyote and the stars have been plasma cut by hand into the repurposed metal without disturbing the beautiful rust and is best appreciated with some sort of back lighting (from a window or with the use of LED lighting).

Ready to hang indoors or out, this marriage of rustic and fine art makes an unforgettable gift for you or someone else!

Plus, 10% of profits go to the Navajo Water Project (navajowaterproject.org).
