Blue Moon Kachina

$449.00
sold out

Inspired by ancient rock art, rust, and blue corn, the Blue Moon Kachina is made almost entirely from reclaimed metal. It features an Ancestral Pueblo-inspired petroglyph image plasma cut by hand into the steel. An old stove burner cover holds a pool of resin, which is infused with actual ground turquoise and blue cornmeal from the American Southwest as well a shot of high quality glow-in-the-dark powder.

The hair/feathers and arms come from old snap ties commonly used in construction. The neck band is fashioned from copper remnants.

Ready to hang indoors or under a blue moon, this marriage of rustic and fine art makes an unforgettable gift for you or someone else.

Plus, 10% of profits from this sale go to the Navajo Water Project (navajowaterproject.org).
